Who is Homebijou?
Homebijou is a group of architects and designers based in Berlin. We are passionate about improving living spaces and providing premium furniture products.
Do you have also a physical shop?
We don't have a physical shop (yet). By operating solely online, we are able to cut down on many expenses, and pass those savings on to you. This means that our prices are often more competitive than those of traditional brick-and-mortar stores.
Can I order a fabric sample?
Yes, we offer fabric samples for most of our products. To request a sample, please contact our customer support team, and we'll be happy to assist you.
Products
Is assembly required for the furniture?
Some of our furniture require basic assembly, while most come fully assembled and ready to be used once unpacked. However, you can always choose to opt-in for delivery+assembly during checkout.

What is the warranty for your products?
We offer a 2-year warranty on all of our products, which covers manufacturing defects and other issues that are not caused by normal wear and tear or missuse.
You can also have a 3 years No-stain warranty when adding Protexx™
Do you make custom products?
We do not make custom items. You can check the different sizes, colors and materials available for a product in our collection or product page.
Product Availability
Product availability is mentioned on each product page. We advise checking this information before placing an order.
In case a product is on pre-order basis, it will be shipped once it becomes available.
Out of stock products will be restocked on monthly basis, you can sign up to be notified when it becomes available again. We do our best to keep our inventory up-to-date and ensure a smooth shopping experience for our customers.
What is Protexx™
Protexx is a maintenance set with a textile protector and stain remover for all textile fabrics. With the Protexx protection set you have the guarantee that your furniture will be stain-free guaranteed for 3 years!
When you buy a piece of furniture and opt for the Protexx stain service, your furniture is guaranteed to be free of stains for the 3 years. Your
furniture is treated with a professional protective layer and is optimally protected against stains from food and drinks.
The Protexx protection prevents permanent stains.
The stain service covers all stains caused by
- Beverages, such as:
- Coffee, tea, cocoa, Cola and fruit juice, wine, beer and liquor
- Foods, such as: Tomato sauce and gravy
- Chocolate and jam curry, ketchup and mayonnaise
- Human and mammalian excreta
Should a stain still occur during this period you have the guarantee for a quick and professional solution. For more information about this professional stain service, please get in touch with one of Protexx employees, they will be happy to assist you further!
Protexx service can only be purchased together with new furniture. You will receive a high quality care products for the entire service period. Each set includes a service card with instruction.
Service does not apply to:
- Rented, project related or for commercial purposes. furniture used for commercial purposes.
- Defects and damage caused by misuse of the furniture.
- Typical features that contribute to the specific character of the
Furniture. Normal soiling, wear and tear, Discoloration.

Orders
Can I track my order?
As part of our commitment to providing you with excellent delivery service, our trusted logistics partner will contact you personally within 3 working days as soon as your product is ready to be shipped. During the first call, they will schedule a delivery appointment that suits your schedule and location, the delivery window will be within a maximum of 2 hours. You will receive a phone call 30 minutes prior to their arrival.
Can I pay in installments?
Can I make changes to my order after it has been placed?
If you wish to make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please note that we may not be able to make changes if your order has already been shipped. Please Note: Extra shipping fees might apply.
Can I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not yet shipped, we can cancel it and issue a refund. If your order has already shipped, we may not be able to cancel it, but you can still return it for a refund (return terms apply).
Do you offer any discounts or promotions?
Yes, for limited time only, we are offering 5% off on your first order. We also run promotions for limited time throughout the year. Please see our website and sign up for our newsletter to secure your first order discount and stay updated on future promotions.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept most major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, UnionPay, American Express, and Sofort. We also accept PayPal and Klarna.
If you wish to pay by Bank transfare, please contact our customer support.
Delivery & Return
Where do you ship to?
We currently ship nearly to all locations within EU. If you can not find your country, Please contact us.
Do you offer free shipping?
We offer free shipping on orders over €999. For orders under that amount, shipping fees will apply. We also offer several shipping options for an additional fee, such as, in-room delivery, assembly, and packaging disposal. You can choose the most convenient one for you during checkout.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
We understand that you may be eager to receive your order, which is why we strive to ship out all products that are ready to be shipped within 5 to 10 working days. Please note that the shipping duration may vary depending on the availability of the products and the shipping destination. Our team will keep you informed of any potential delays and work diligently to ensure that your order is shipped out as soon as possible. Our top priority is to provide you with a seamless shipping experience and make sure that your order is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
Please note, that pre-order items will take longer as mentioned on our website (product page). If you order items with different availability times, we will ship your order once all items are available.
What are the delivery options?
We offer standard, standard+, and premium shipping options for all eligible products.
Our “Standard” delivery ensures that your order is delivered directly to your first doorstep. Please note that this service does not cover the assembly or installation of the products, nor do we provide packaging material removal.
"Standard-Plus" delivery includes bringing your order to the desired room of your home, but does not include product assembly or packaging removal.
Our "Premium" service includes delivery and placement of your order in the desired room of your home. Our team will unpack, assemble, or set up the products, and take away the packaging materials for proper disposal.
Please note: our delivery personnel do not move existing furniture and do not take the old furniture out.

How much does delivery cost?
We calculate all delivery fees based on the customer's location and the type of service selected during checkout or from the cart page. This way, you can be sure that you're only paying for the delivery services that you need.
We believe in providing transparent pricing to our customers, so you can be rest assured that there are no hidden fees or charges. Please note that the exact delivery fees will be displayed on the checkout page before finalising your purchase

Can I choose a specific delivery date or time?

You will receive a phone call 30 minutes prior to their arrival.
What if the furniture arrives damaged?
Even though, this is highly unlikely due to our extra care and frequent quality control. If your furniture arrives damaged, please contact our customer service team immediately. We will work with you to replace the damaged item. Please take a photo of the damage and keep the original packaging (if possible) to help us process your claim.
Please check your order thoroughly once it is delivered and report any damage directly to the delivery company, as this will be the fastest way to solve the issue.
What is your return policy?
Our return policy allows customers to return products within 15 days of delivery, provided that the product is in its original condition and packaging. Shipping fees (if paid) are not refundable.
To start the return process, simply reach out to us and we'll coordinate a pickup service at your convenience.
Please Note: made-to-order items are excluded from our return policy and can not be returned or refunded.

How do I change my account information?
Log in to the account you registered with. In the customer area, you can change the information you want in the "My Addresses" and "My Personal Information" sections.
How can I unsubscribe from the newsletter?
You can unsubscribe at any time by selecting the "Unsubscribe" option at the bottom of each newsletter you receive.
